Anna has an associate degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting from Austin Community College and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Science from Texas State University. She is pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Seminary of the Southwest. She has an advanced certification in ASL interpreting and is Gottman Level 1 trained. Her areas of interest include Adult Children of Alcoholics or Dysfunctional Families, Adults with ADHD, and Attachment theory. Her favorite part of working as a therapist is helping people discover their unique gifts. She believes a good therapist holds the lantern while a client finds their way. Her counseling style is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and colorful, with a healthy dose of humor. She loves traveling with her partner, swimming in Barton Springs, and shamelessly watching Real Housewives.
