celeste Schneider, Ba — GRADUATE STUDENT INTERN (SUPERVISED BY DR. VAGDEVI MEUNIER, PSY.D)

Celeste has a BA in Interpersonal Communication from Belmont University and is currently  pursuing a Masters in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling from Lamar University. Prior to this, she worked for 14 years as a public educator and theatre director. As a future Licensed Professional Counselor, Celeste is Gottman Level 1 trained. Her areas of interest in therapy are couples therapy, sex therapy, parent/child relationships and empowering individuals to live their best life now. Celeste emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship between the client and counselor, building trust and showing compassion. She works in collaboration with the client to discover their wants and needs and empowers them to set goals and realistic action plans to get where they want to be, believing that healing and wholeness in relationships and as an individual is always possible at any point in one’s life. When Celeste isn’t in her office, she can be found writing music, singing karaoke, laying on the beach or spending time with her kids and fiance.
