DEBBIE SEEGER, MA – LPC-ASSOCIATE, LMFT-ASSOCIATE (Supervised by Gena St. David, Ph.D.,  LPC-S, LMFT-S)

Debbie is a Licensed Professional Counselor–Associate and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist–Associate at the Center. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with Concentration in Latinx Counseling from the Seminary of the Southwest. While at the Seminary, Debbie was the inaugural co-chair of the Seminary’s Counselors for Social Justice and is a Spiritual Integration in Counseling Scholar. Debbie completed Level 1 in Internal Family Systems (IFS) psychotherapy, a Level 2 IFS training on shame, anxiety, and depression, and training on using IFS to address complex trauma. She has completed Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and is a Gottman Method Bringing Baby Home Educator. Debbie finds tremendous meaning in walking alongside her clients on their journey to self-discovery and supporting them in choosing which patterns to pass on and which to extinguish. She brings genuine curiosity and compassion with a touch of humor to her work. When Debbie is not working, she enjoys reading, cooking, and time outside, especially when she can feel, see, or hear water.
