Aspen Gromatzky
Aspen Gromatzky is a Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner student who believes that meaningful mental health care begins with a genuine connection. Throughout her nursing career, Aspen found that her favorite part of caring for patients was often sitting down, listening to their stories, and getting to know the person behind the diagnosis. At the same time, she often found herself wishing there were more time to slow down and have those conversations. That realization ultimately led her to pursue a career in psychiatric mental health care, where connection and conversation can be at the center of treatment.
Aspen holds a B.S.A. in Biology and brings experience in both clinical psychiatry and Neurology Critical Care nursing. She works with adults, families, and couples experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions, while remaining open to each person's unique needs and goals.
Aspen believes therapy should be individualized rather than one-size-fits-all. She values developing a thoughtful formulation for each client and working collaboratively to determine what they want to accomplish in therapy. To her, therapy is a partnership—one where both the client and clinician bring their ideas, perspectives, and curiosity to the table to find a path forward together.
Known for being bubbly, empathetic, and a genuinely curious listener, Aspen strives to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. She believes you don't have to walk into therapy with everything figured out; sometimes the first step is simply having someone sit with you and say, “Okay, let's figure this out together.”
Outside of the clinic, Aspen is a newlywed, proud cat mom to two cats, and unapologetically coffee-obsessed. She also has a slight DIY problem—her philosophy is that if she can find it on YouTube, she's probably going to try it.
