Monique Lacour

Monique is a graduate intern pursuing her Master’s in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling at Lamar University. She brings over a decade of experience working with children, families, and communities in educational settings, where she developed a deep appreciation for the role relationships play in emotional well-being and growth.

Monique works with individuals and couples who are seeking greater connection, clarity, and understanding within themselves and their relationships. Her approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative, creating a space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, communicate more openly, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

She integrates a relational and emotionally attuned lens into her work, supporting clients in identifying underlying needs, strengthening communication, and navigating moments of disconnection and repair. Monique is especially interested in helping clients deepen self-awareness and build more connected, intentional relationships.

Monique is currently training in the Gottman Method and is passionate about supporting clients in developing stronger, more fulfilling partnerships.
